Zhengzhou Central Hospital, founded in 1954, is a comprehensive third-class A hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research. Its predecessor is the Joint Hospital of Henan Textile Administration, which was established by the Central Ministry of Textile Industry to transfer outstanding experts from the hospital of East China Textile Administration in Shanghai. In 1996, it was approved as a third-class A general hospital. In 2011, it was listed as Zhengzhou Central Hospital affiliated to Zhengzhou University.
With Tongbai Road Hospital as the core, the Medical Group has high-tech Hospital, rehabilitation branch, Yuxin Branch, Wengong Road Hospital (Zhengzhou Pelvic Floor Dysfunction Disease Center), Xinzheng Branch (Xinzheng Public People's Hospital) and high-tech hospital under construction (Shuanghu Hospital). Three community health service centers (stations), Lvdong Village Community Health Service center, Gouzhao Community Health Service Center and Zhengzhou Wumian Community Health service Station, cooperated with Zhengzhou Orthopaedic Hospital and Erqi District Mazhai Town Health Center to build first aid stations, forming a hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system for group development.
